If you open up Google and do a search on the word "Web Hosting", more than 40 million web pages come up as a result. With that much competition, is it fairly easy to get lost while searching for a hosting provider and evaluating which are the most important things to consider.
    # The hosting company must control their servers.
    # Seek a Host With Good Support.
    # Don't let your hosting company own your domain.
    # Avoid Free Hosting Of Any Kind.

John, how to confirm the ownership of a domain?
I had bought a domain recently, but not sure what detail/label need to check.

First, you need to check it up using whois service.. You may check it via easywhois.com or who.is
That step is valid only if your domain not using any privacy services..
If your domain using the privacy service, you may login to your domain control panel and have a look on the admin detail.
    Thanks....
