Over the years we have formed strategic partnerships to help maintain and improve your experience. As you may be aware, the UK2 Group has maintained a strong relationship with Cloud Group Limited, a business unit once part of the UK2 Group. Cloud Group Limited has continued to maintain the ICANN accreditation for many of the domains under management by the UK2 Group. Through this partnership, UK2 Group has had exclusive access to utilize the accreditation on which many of your domains are registered.
We are pleased to announce that the UK2 Group has reached yet another evolutionary milestone and an agreement with Cloud Group Limited to assume the ICANN accreditation that has been maintained by Cloud Group Limited. We are also pleased to announce ICANN’s acceptance of the application to transfer the accreditation (IANA ID 84) to UK2 Limited, commonly trading as UK2 Group, directly. Reaching this milestone positions UK2 Group and the various brands, namely Resell.biz, to continue to grow long term.
What does this mean for you? It is likely to have little impact on you. Approximately 16 days from the date of this message, the ICANN accreditation known as Cloud Group Limited will be transferred to UK2 Limited, commonly trading as UK2 Group. You may notice the name change on the sponsoring registrar for any domain names managed on this accreditation. The domain management platform will remain unchanged. The support team you are familiar with will remain intact and just as responsive as ever; the support processes and methods of contact will remain unchanged. Registration pricing will not change due to this event. This will have no impact on DNS, registration renewal or reseller and customer relationships. Existing agreements will remain in effect and unchanged.
What do you have to do? A white-labeled message will be automatically sent to each registrant notifying them of the change, it is your responsibility to be prepared to answer any questions your resellers and customer may have. A copy of the message will be provided to you within the next 24 hours prior to being sent to any registrants.
