[HELP] Firewall Configuration

Sore juragan2..

Gni, kmarin kan baru beli VPS (1gb unmanaged). Semua uda di install.. LAMP, MySQL, dll deh.
Sekarang yg buat pusing itu bagian firewall nya. Kalo dari iptables, gimana setting nya? Total gk ngerti.
Kalo firewall alternatif selain iptables itu ada? Yg gampang dimengerti aja.. Baru 1x di unmanaged punya

iptables gausah dipake klo udah pake csf.. karena csf yg ngatur config iptablesnya.

Tp ad 1 masalah di MySQL, terjadi saat mau nginstall RoundCube.. Smua ptunjuk diikuti, tp wkt mau flush privelleges nya, lgsg gk bisa akses mySQL/phpMyAdmin

Mau di reinstall gk bisa.. Uda di yum remove mysqld, tp wktu mau yum install mysql-devel mysql-server gk bisa..

Coba instalkan webmin lalu webmin modulnya pakek csf, kalo kesulitan baca panduan instal di csf.

Uda searching Google berjam2 tp solusiny gk ad.

Uda di cari folder yg ad file itu, tp gk ada.
Ada cara supaya bisa fresh install tuh MySQL / remove itu?

Pake repo apa pak?
Mungkin bisa ngetre yang ini - Update PHP 5.2 in RHEL 5 (Page 1)

Thank you buat juragan2 yg uda luangin waktunya.

Kalo ad yg mengalami masalah kek w, carany yg w pake spt ini:

rpm -qa | grep mysql
[I]hapus tuh file yg kluar[/I]

wget http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/5/i386/epel-release-5-4.noarch.rpm
wget http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterprise/remi-release-5.rpm
rpm -Uvh remi-release-5*.rpm epel-release-5*.rpm
[I]Edit file etc/yum.repos.d/remi.repo jd spt dibawah[/I]

Baru install balik aja tuh mysql atau yum --enablerepo=remi update php-\*

Kalo kedapatan ada tulisan "ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)",

Caranya (harus root)

/etc/init.d/mysqld start
mysql
