Setting Permalink WP di VPS

Hai kk-kk semua..

saya mau tanya. Bagaimana cara setting permalinks WordPress di VPS? Soalnya kalau di VPS khan muncul index.php nya segala (http://xxxxx.xxx/index.php/2008/08/30/sample-post/). yg saya inginkan (http://xxxxx.xxx/2008/08/30/sample-post/

Nah gimana nih cara menghilangkan index.php nya?

menurut saya aplikasi WP tidak tergantung mo dipake di vps, dedicated maupun yang lainnya .. WP kan cuma butuh Apache, MySQL dan PHP aja ..

untuk set permalink ada di admin area WP .. tingal pilih saja mau modelnya kayak gimana. Save Setting.

kalo file .htaccess tidak dalam keadaan mode writable, bikin manual trus masukin deh code yang di maksud .. <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> code code code </IfModule>

kalo setting DirectoryIndex dicantumkan index.php mestinya dalam url tanpa menuliskan itu index.php akan diload otomatis.
